Lighter and less complex, yet with a wide range of voices, the Les Paul Special II gives you the punch you want, without the price. Instrument Specifications

The Epiphone Les Paul Special II is an entry level Les Paul. That’s what everyone will tell you. But I’ll tell you that of all the Epiphone models, this one is the most misunderstood and most varied of their model line. So, when you shop for one, you need to understand what you are looking at, and what makes it the same, or different.

Different versions have different pickups, tuners, and/or electronics….. The basic structural design is the same… 2 humbucker pickups (Neck, Bridge) controlled by a 3 position toggle, (Neck, Both, Bridge) on the bottom front side of the guitar, with two controls, one volume, and one tone, controlling the pickups selected. Some are marked as Limited Edition, but this does not make them better than versions not marked.

Epiphone makes good guitars. A Special II, regardless of what version it is, is a good guitar. This version has the classic Vintage Sunburst finish. It was probably built in 2017. It is the basic version.

Factory Authorized Refurbished Instruments

In addition to recovering unique older Epiphone, Squier, Mexican Fender, and other mid-range guitars for resale, I also sell these newer refurbished instruments. These are a great deal for anyone that wants a quality guitar with a limited budget. We can sell for less than discounted new! Why buy a cheaper knock-off when you can have a GENUINE Epiphone for the same investment.

This instrument was refurbished by a factory authorized refurbisher. Unlike a new guitar, or a typical used guitar, this one was completely checked out, and tested by factory authorized skilled guitar Technicians and Luthiers.

Many of the guitars coming through the refurbisher’s shop have no physical damage, but need electronics repairs. The factory rejects them as well as those with finish flaws or other physical damage. Many guitars are rejected simply because the color is not “up to specifications”.

After each guitar has been inspected, repaired, if required, or just passed as “no repairs needed”, they are set-up, re-boxed, marked as “Used” by the refurbisher with a light stamp on the neck, and assigned a new serial number.

I look for high quality, low priced instruments for my budget customers, and unique models that are limited editions, out of production, or just beautiful instruments for everyone that I can offer at a great price. I will sometimes take a guitar with a finish flaw if it is a nice instrument and I can pass it on for a great price, but any flaws not repaired, or repairs of any physical damage found on any guitar I sell, will be noted here.

This guitar has no damage and did not need any repairs.

I believe every guitar should have a second chance, and every aspiring guitar player, should have a chance to buy a good guitar, at a fair price…. This is one of those guitars…. Don’t let it pass you by…. I offer my guitars at a fair price, but open the option for a best offer. I always reject low-ball offers, but always consider honest ones. Try it, I may be in a good mood today!

Thanks for Looking…
