The Traveler Redlands Series

A beautiful guitar, with a broad and warm tone, in a size that allows you to travel with it most anywhere.  This is the “Concert” model.

Big Things, Small Packages

What makes this guitar unique? A shorter scale neck (25”) makes the Redlands Concert super compact, but it still plays with big, beautiful sound. The body is elegant, yet small but not too small, creating deep, warm bass and bright sweet highs.  Details like a comfy beveled edge, cutaway, and beautiful binding make the Redlands Concert a joy to play, and to look at. Custom onboard electronics allow for the connection to broader and deeper context in venues of all sizes. The Redlands Concert comes standard with a custom onboard preamp, built-in tuner, and 3-band EQ.

It’s a travel  guitar….. The GigBag is included…..Every single Traveler Guitar comes standard with a compact, custom gig bag so you can protect your investment at no additional cost.

Refurbished Instruments

In addition to recovering, rebuilding, and refurbishing intermediate priced guitars and folk instruments from the last 30 years, we also sell factory authorized refurbished instruments, sourced through one of the largest instrument recyclers in the US. These are a great deal for anyone that wants a quality like new instrument with a limited budget. You don’t get an equivalent you get an original.

This is a professionally refurbished instrument. They mostly come from the factory, or from large dealers. Some instruments have flaws, like a paint glitch, while some need simple repairs, not visible, like repairing a lifting bridge or fretboard. Some have a repair that is visible but makes the instrument good again, like an acoustic with a cracked soundboard that needs repaired. Sometimes it gets rejected because the color is not quite right, or it was sold with accessories, and the factory ran out of accessories.

Unlike a new instrument, or typical used one, this instrument was completely checked out, and tested by factory authorized skilled Instrument Technicians (Luthiers). After it was inspected at the refurbisher by experts, it was repaired if needed, and/or verified as “fully functional as intended by the manufacturer. Then, it was distributed to dealers like me, to get to smart customers like you. You get a great, as-new instrument, at a great price, less than discounted new!

If there is any visible repair or flaw on any instrument we sell, we note it here.

This instrument has no visible repairs.

By law, since it was handled after it was released, the instrument is marked as “Used” by the Refurbisher with a light stamp on the headstock, and assigned a new sticker serial number.

I offer my instruments at a fair price, but open the option for a best offer. I always reject lowball offers, but always consider honest ones. Try it; I may be in a good mood today!

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
